This was a process-driven assignment that tasked students with composing a memo to the tech company WebEx, regarding the acquisition and implementation of their web services at a fictional company. This project required in-depth research into WebEx and their products, as well as how their platform compares to other similar web conferencing software.

 

       With strict formatting requirements and corporate protocol that was previously unfamiliar, this document was both challenging and enlightening. In my previous work experience, formal written communications did not fall under my purview, so it was exciting to be able to learn the appropriate methodology behind formal memos. Overall, this research memo was a great opportunity to pair my writing and UX skills.
