Social Media Campaign
This project was a lot of fun! The lack of rigid structure while still providing clear-cut expectations allowed the students a lot of room for creativity an ability to “throw things at the wall and see what sticks”. This assignment is when I really began to feel comfortable and confident in my abilities, and that everything seemed to “click” a lot quicker than it did previously early on in other courses. The concept of a Social Media Campaign was something that was already quite familiar, and a lot of the work was identifying the brand, audience, and purpose of the campaign.

The campaign was intended to promote the launch of a new sportswear and apparel brand and create excitement within the targeted fanbase prior to the company going live. This process of completing the Social Media Campaign consisted of numerous mock-ups and storyboards for several different platforms, as well as a functioning social media account for the company with 5 posts. This project allowed me to flex my creativity as well as implement what I have learned previously to create effective content for the target audience.
